Re: Fight or Flight?

Thank you all so much for your replies. Allthough it is very unfortunate you suffer these symptoms as well, it is nice to know Im not alone. I will be seeing my psychiatrist in a couple days. Im curious Beth, as you seem to have all the same 'symptoms', do you get these symptoms without fainting ever? a lot? I get them all the time and was told it is anxiety. Im wondering if I would faint each time I get these episodes if I weren't careful. (If I lay down or get to the bathroom in time to sit or lay, I never faint, it seems to be if I wait too long and am trying to move) Is there any prescription medication that helps with these symptoms (not necesarily the fainting but everything else that goes along with it? I have tried so many anti-depressants, none seem to help with my anxiety itself or these symptoms. Prescribed me Zantac for naseau, didn't help. Right now Im on Paxil and Trileptal (mood stabalizer). Trileptal seems to make my depression worse, but thats a whole new thread. Anyway, curious about if there are meds that help as I am seeing my doc in a few days.
Thanks again!!!

Re: Fight or Flight?

hello again Krystal
To answer your question......yes I do get symptoms without fainting sometimes.Like the last few nights for whatever reason when I lay down for bed It feels like my heart is beating irregurlary,I feel sick ,hot, and anxious
I stayed in bed thinking if I got up I may faint, not sure I would have but wasnt gonna take the chance. As far as meds for help all I can say when I took clonopin I didnt faint during that time which was 2 years on it.I also took zoloft.I didnt have hardly any anxiety ever on the meds. Was the clonopin stopping me from fainting? No idea ....maybe.Like I said though it pretty much stopped all the crazy anxiety symptoms, only downfall was it made me tired.
