Convulsions?

I've had this wierd thing for a couple of years, and It sounds like convulsions(violent uncontrollable contractions of muscles ) I was wondering if this is serious or if i should get it checked out?????
I will also be starting accutane today and that is a possible sign of something**!! which is caused by using the drug. But I already have convulsions.( I've just heard of the word in one of my pamphlets, and just got the definition) and for the past 2 days I have had it really bad in my left leg for some reason.

Re: Convulsions?

Quit the accutane and get into see your doctor about these "convulsions". I have a feeling you are not really having convulsions as these are often very alarming to anyone you are with but you should get it checked out before using the accutane.

Re: Convulsions?

this much more likely to be severe muscle spasms than actual convulsions unless you actually go 'down' and lose control of your bowels and have other symptoms of seizures. These can be caused by many many possible reasons which is why you really do need to have this all evaluated by your doc and possibly a neurologist if needed. These can evenresult from something as simple as low magnesium or potassium levels.my son went through this and was actually having these reallybad sudden contortions of his hands and arms.It was just so reaky to actually see this.It turned out that his mag level was really really low.All we did was give him a mag suppliment and they went away after only two days on the mag.
you really do need to find out just exactly what it IS that you are really having, and why.See your doc.FB
