Another Dizzyness Post

Hello all, I've acutally been doing very well with controlling my anxiety lately, but now the dizzyness has seemed to return. It's really hard to explain but I'm not dizzy all the time, it only seems to happen when i make certain head movements like turning my head to the left and then turning it back, its almost as if my eyes are behind the movement of my head and take a second to catch up. The sensation will only last a second but it really bothers me when i have to drive and constantly look both ways or look to change lanes. The strange thing is that I can go weeks and this wont happen but then suddenly it will bother me for a few days all the time and then dissapear again. I carry alot of tension in my neck a shoulders so im wondering if this has something to do with it. Anyways does anyone else experience this? And if so is there anything that makes it better/worse? Thanks in advance and i hope everyone is having a good day.

Are you taking medicines daily and if so, what kind? I was curious because this has been happening to me lately, especially in the morning upon awakening, I feel like I'm punch-drunk. It's scary.

Re: Another Dizzyness Post

I take a beta blocker (Metoprolol) for blood pressure every morning. I also have a brand new bottle of Xanax that I have just refused to give in to. But I've also noticed that mine tends to be the worst in the morning also. It is also pretty bad after i get back from my evening jog as well.

Re: Another Dizzyness Post

there are many possible causes for dizzyness and it helps to have a doc who will take the problem seriously and check you out, anxiety of course is one possible cause
massaging the neck may help
