Best Birth Control Pills for Acne (e.g. Desogen/Apri)

Hi all,

Which brand of Birth Control Pills have you found to be the most effective for Acne? Any side effects?

I'm thinking of trying Desogen (generic: Apri; in Canada: Orthocept), since I seem to have only heard of bad experiences with OrthoTriCyclen.

I had really good results on Diane-35 (available in Canada & UK - but not the US). Stayed totally clear for years while I was on it. Switched to Alesse and that was a nightmare beyond belief. Am now back on Diane-35 and clearing up. Acne back to mild and hopefully clear again soon!

So not sure which is the "best" ... as everyone is different. But in my experience, Alesse is the WORST. I wouldn't wish Alesse on my worst enemy.
