My sternum and spine hurt constantly in the area that's between my shoulderblades both front and back. More so on the right side. If I press on my sternum in the front (3rd rib probably) I feel the pain and pressure in my back between my shoulders too. My sternum and back crack & pop constantly and hurt, I can't sleep because of the discomfort (I'm still awake at this hour). This constant pain and discomfort is driving me crazy. I have anxiety and depression but I don't think it could cause this. I'm on Elavil but it's ceased to work. Sometimes when I actually fall asleep I'll awake and the ring & pinkie finger of whatever hand and arm is not toward the bed is numb and tingly. Sometimes my the tips of my thumbs go numb and cold for no reason. Does anyone else experience this and what has helped? Thanks in advance for any replies or suggestions.
