From firsthand experience I know that beta blockers defifntely cause ED. THiazides PROBABLY do and one ARB,
Cozaar might. At the very least the ARB is of no benefit in this regard.
Also the literature is replete with references that hypertension ALONE can cause ED.
I really don't know about the effects effects of CCB's.
The literature says that a loop diuretic, furosemide has a very low incidence of ED.
Why not do a trial of an ACE inhibitor and see for yourself whether or not it affects you. If it doesn't cause coughing and is OK with your plumbing, then you've got a good BP medication.
But it's all trial and error with these farschmeldt drugs!
