hi everyone,

my derm prescribed benzaclin for me yesterday. theyre for the TINY bumps on my forehead. I hesitate to use this because i think it'll dry my skin real bad like retin-a micro did. also, i dont trust my derm because he wants to give me ACCUTANE if this doesn't work (for my OILINESS!!!) yes, you heard right. for my oiliness! i'm not kidding. i was so suprised when he said accutane. the rest of my skin is fine, it's just that my skin is more oily than it used to be and i have tiny little bumps on my forehead. what do you guys think? thanks.

sorry for not having an answer to your queston and asking you one, but whats bad about accutane? I have heard of alot of people talking about it dont realy know what it is.

I use Benzaclin and it does help with oil control for me (use it in the AM and Differin at night). I find it works really well at drying up pimples quickly and in combination with Differin has been great for my cystic, hormonal acne. Used alone, I could see that it would be good for just general pimples and oily skin.
