Pcp

My son has ALL and blasts of AML, and we have just started our maintenance stage. Liam had pneumonia at the start of December, and after 10 days of Amoxil, cough, and tightness eased.

Was admitted 2 days ago, and oncologist is suggested PCP. (He had a bronchoscopy this morning, and we should have the results back in approx 3 days)..... Now this is what I don't understand.....

He has been on Bactrim for the majority of 6 months, and this is the most common anti to deal with this pneumonia......has anyone else/child, had PCP and been on Bactrim ????

Thanks
Ned
