Sinus Infection?

Hello-

Ok some backround information... I'm in the "recovery" stage of mono, and have had light sensitivity for the past month.

Alright so a week ago... I woke up and had an increase in eye floaters (more than you would normally see)... and then two days later I had alot of pain/pressure in my eye area. The next day the pressure was in between my eyes, and on the sides of my head. (consistant with where sinuses are) My doctor would not let me come in because they were booked, so instead they tried to diagnosis me over the phone. They told me to take claritin and told me it could be an allergy type deal, although I have never had allergies before in my life. (by the way I am 18) So I went to a new doctor, he was very brief however but gave me medicine for a sinus infection. I've only been on the medicine a day and a half... but the pressure is still there. I have no mucus or snot. Is it possible to have a sinus infection without that? I'm just really scared because of the increase in floaters in my visual field. I did go to the eye doctor and she said everything looked healthy but they did not do the test where the dialate your pupils yet. I'm getting that done soon. I was just wandering if anyone had any thoughts on my situation? I never had a sinus infection before, I'm not even sure if I have a sinus infection.

Thanks guys!

Re: Sinus Infection?

I had sinus infections for a year. Then I asked to be sent to an ENT specialist. The nose specialist said I had nasal polyps. My family doc recommended a glutathione nasal spray. It saved my life. I didnt need the surgery. It got rid of the polyps and no more sinus infections. Doc told me to use the spray in the future if I had a cold or flu. Glutathione is the master of all antioxidants. Its a good thing my doc believes in supplements. In Canada you need a prescription for the spray. I had tried everything before to get rid of the sinus infections. Nasonex, biaxin, etc and nothing worked except for the glutathione nasal spray. Good luck to you.
