Re: vicopofren/hydrocodone

That may just be your actual physical pain condition that is making you feel that way in the morning. I'm sure the pain pills loosen you up and help the pain so in the mornings when it has all worn off you might feel more sore and stiff, etc... I never had anything like that happen when I was on them. But it is different for everyone. But if I had to guess, it would be that you feel that way in the morning due to your pain problem, not the pills.

The problem with needing the pills for chronic pain conditions is making sure that you are ONLY taking the meds when you legitimatley need them for pain. Not because you have a bunch of laundry to get done, dinner to make, a house to clean, etc... and you want the energy you get from them. Then you are abusing them. That was the hardest part for me. I took them for so many reasons OTHER than my pain and that is when I got into trouble. The pills are there for your pain nothing else. If you are feeling depressed, anxious, etc... you need to see your doctor and tell them that so they can give you the appropriate medications for those conditions. I wish I had done that and maybe I wouldn't have gotten into the trouble I did with the vicodin.

Re: vicopofren/hydrocodone

So who knows, should the insurance company contact one of the doctors they may just stop giving you the meds. I guess you will just have to wait and see how it all turns out.>>>>

I knew I had a problem with fioricet (never liked the feeling of tylonal 3 or vicoden) when I would only pay cash for them at the drug store (wouldn't use ins for it) or when I used two drug stores if I took more then my primary gave me. Primary doc never paid close attention to when he last gave me a script. I have since I couldn't take the pill counting or which drugstore did I use last any more just told the doc that I wanted to stop and I tapered from 6 a day to 1 a day and I am now on only taking tylonal. What gets me is last week when I saw him I asked for only several pills to stop. He gave me a script for 60. Go figure.

I was on them since the 80's. I would get a script for 120 each month. I stopped them last Sat feels great not having to worry about the meds. I just have to find out how to deal with my headaches.
