My doctor explained that it usually takes about 3 pill cycles for the benefits of the pill to all kick in. I started taking the pill for hot flashes, racing heart, incomnia, etc. and it relieved all of my symptoms mid way through the second month. Nothing works overnight!

Are you feeling any negative symptoms due to Yasmine?? Breast tenderness, bloating, headache etc. I am hoping that because it's such a "lite" pill, the awful side effects I used to get from the old pills won't happen with this one. Thanks.

I take lo-ovral , not Yasmine. I have no side effects at all.

Do you think then I will continue to bleed until my 2nd or 3rd month on the pill? I was hoping maybe it would quit sooner than that. I could stand it I guess if it would just slow down. At this rate, I feel like I'll be 6 feet under by then! Thanks for the input, Ann
