Re: mixing booze with benzos

On April 14, 1975, Karen Ann Quinlan was 21 years old when she collapsed at a party after swallowing alcohol and the tranquilizer Valium, a benzodiazepine. While doctors saved her life, she suffered brain damage and lapsed into a "persistent vegetative state." She remained in a coma for almost 10 years in a New Jersey nursing home until her 1985 death. Her story can be found on the internet by typing her name into Google since she was the first major right-to-die litigation case, preceeding Terry Schiavo.

Re: mixing booze with benzos

taking benzo's with alcohol is an easy way to wake up a stiff. both drugs are depressants so mix to much of either and your body won't be able to regulate your breathing which would most likely result in death.
