Maybe time to see MD.

Hi friends. It may be time for me to make an appointment to see a doctor. I've tried some of the hints from folks here. I have had several weeks of unusal and untimly bowel movements.Several times a day, ranging rom loose to solid. I find myself afraid to leave the house for more than an hour as I have had to make almost sudden runs to the bathroom. I've charted everything that I ate and charted my movements. I've decided that it's not any one thing that I eat.I have spent the last two weeks taking citrucel soluble fiber. I thought that was helping bulk my stools, but now I'm not sure. I have no pains at all, maybe a udge often to go but no discomfort of any sort except for the sudden onset of bowel movements. It's a terrible feeling to think that your in the car and not make it to a bathroom in time. This moring I had a good solid movement at 8:00, another small semi solid at 9:45. I went out for breakfast at 10:15 and at 11:15 on the way home I had to speed home to just make it in time. Just thought I would reach out for advice, thanks friends

Re: Maybe time to see MD.

Sounds like IBS. It can strike without warning and has those symptoms.

Re: Maybe time to see MD.

are you on any meds. I was like that when I was taking Zocor for high colesteral sp after several years I told my doctor i was going to stop zocor and he switched me to tricor and I fear no more going out. Life is great now. No more fear.
