If you take the pills everyday, you will not get pregnant, even if you are on the sugar pills, unless you are the "unlucky" 1% of women who get pregnant while on the pill. Birth control pills are designed to allow you to have sex ANY day you want without getting pregnant--even during the week of pills that don't contain hormones.

The only time I would worry about this is if you don't take your pills correctly or often miss a pill. If you take them perfectly then you will be fine! There is a chance (I know somebody that it happened to) if you often skip pills and therefore it looses its over 99% accuracy. Also, if you weren't taking any antibiotics or throwing up right after taking the pill (I read that you are fine if it is at least 2 hours afterwards when I had a stomach virus) or anything you should definitely be fine! Plus, pulling out will help. It's definitely not a good method of birth control, but can be a good idea in ADDITION to birth control.
