Yep - benzos withdrawal is extremely difficult - cannot c/t - have to slow taper.
Google the "Ashton Manual" and follow the advice.

Just for the record justin,the only withdrawls that you can die from,are alchohol withdrawls,this is a medical fact. Unless someone commits suicide.Physically,again,alcohol wd's you can die from.How do i know this,i used to be a drug\ alcohol counselor for a well known facility in upstsate N.Y
You may feel like you want to die,it is pure hell.
Getting back to the topic,it will take some time to get back to normal,but you have to start somewere,wich you did.And i hope for your own sake,that you never forget the hell of wd's! So in the future,if you ever decide to try even one,you'll remember what you went through! You made it a week,that is just great,don't give up! Claim your life back,hell,demand it back! I can promise you this,it does get better.Don't let anyone tell you you can physically die from opiod\benzo withdrawls.Goodluck!

Actually, barbiturate WD can also kill, so if anyone who's hooked on Fioricet or any onther barbiturate containing drugs should keep that in mind and detox appropriately.

If I had read that statement a few monyhs ago I would have freaked. I was afraid to go off of fioricet since i had been taking them since the 80's. I tapered and I was off of them in one week. I suffered no WD except migrains.That was the reason I started Fiorcet.
