I also feel clearer in afternon, evenings than late at night.
Unfortunately I have blood pressure problems so my doc insists to lay off the decongestants.
May I ask what are you on to control your allergies, shots? Also did your allergies develop over time or just hit you like a ton of bricks suddenly one day.

I take antihistimines, decongestants and use nosesprays, as well as get allergy shots. I also do nasal irrigations. I always had hayfever as a kid, but in college, I kept getting sinus infections. Looking back, I'm not sure they were all infections, but this was back in the day when they would throw antibiotics at anything. After going back to the doctor 6 times in a semester, a nurse finally said that maybe I actually have allergies.
FYI decogestants are different than anitihistimines. All the medicines you listed are decogestants, and decongestants help both sinus and allergy congestion. Antihistimines will PREVENT congestion, IF you have allergies. I am suprised you didn't get an Rx for Allegra or Zyrtec. You really need to try one so you know what your dealing with. My dad has high bloodpressure and has to stay away from decongestants, but is able to take antihistimines.
