Ejection Fraction and Albuterol

Hi everyone, Has anyone on here ever had their EF go up after using Azmacort and Albuterol inhalers? I landed in the ER two months ago with my heart pounding and my husband could hear my heart beating from about 2 feet away. The ER doctor called the heart sound a 'heave' sound. We heard a 'whoosh' sound. I was admitted after an all nighter in the ER and Cardio doc did a what he called a "quick" echo. They said my ef had increased from 30% to 40% (they told me about the 40% today). My ef hasn't been 40% in years. They called me today and said they were canceling the echo that is scheduled for next Tuesday since I had an echo in the hospital.....I told them I felt that was a false reading as per the albuterol and extreme stress I was having. I stood my ground and the echo is still on. My fatigue, SOB, weakness, has worsened since two months ago. Please respond. Penk
