Exclamation Staph infection?

Just recently i've been cutting my own hair.I use a zero all around, sides and neck, and a #4 on the top.I started getting pimples on my neck. One day I tried popping one.Eventually it got bigger and bigger and started to abcess. My doctor put me on Keflex 500.I went home and squeezed it until pus started flowing from it like a faucet! I think I got it all out, took the Keflex,it went away........so I thought! This weekend another pimple popped up.I tried squeezing it and it started swelling.Today,my son tried squeezing it and got nothing but blood from it.Eight hours later (now) its an abcess the size of a golf ball, and very very painful.I have a doctors appointment tomorrow with my primary physician. Is there anything I can ask him to do for me,besides put me on antibiotics? Anyone else have this problem? I was told there is a "core" in there that needs to be removed before it heals correctly. Is this true? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
