adrenals and fat metabolism
I've had very high cholesterol for over 15 years now and after only 3 months of being on my adrenal glandular extract my total cholesterol went down about 10%. I was startled because there was no other factor i could point to which could account for this. I have tried taking a statin (lipitor) to lower my cholesterol a couple of times, but had really bad stomach cramps so i stopped them.
Can anyone on this board tell me if there is a connection between cholesterol and adrenal exhaustion/insufficiency? Thanks much.
