Re: Seeing Bugs - Just this past week!!!

Hi Adidas,

Sometimes it just makes you feel better to laugh. That is funny that your mom knows what color her bugs are. Next time my dad sees them, I should ask him what the bugs look like and how big are they?! When I was at their house and he showed me his arm, that they had been all over, earlier that day - I looked and while and after I was looking, he just looked sort of confused and sad. In my dads case, I think he knows he may be seeing things.

Hey, that is a good idea about calling the exterminator. Except we would have to do it while my mom was gone. Otherwise, if she had to pay for it, she might cancel the bug killing man!!!

I think I will talk with my sister and maybe she can look around and see if there really are any bugs. Maybe she can get my dad to help her? Or not. He has trouble getting down on the ground. They could use an extermination, but my mom has so much stuff that not much would get sprayed but the floors. My sis is coming for a few days in about 3 weeks.

Ya know, I like to see and make them happy too. It makes you feel better too. Just little things do that now.

Thanks for the story Adidas, it made me feel better. At least I am not in the boat by myself! :>

Love, Wannabe

Re: Seeing Bugs - Just this past week!!!

This will not help for everyone but my aunt was having hallucinations and when we brought it to her DR's attention he went over her med's again and had to change some of them around because since she had weight loss she was over medicated.

Re: Seeing Bugs - Just this past week!!!

Hi shai anne & everyone,

I do not think that would help my dad. When I talked with his dr., he said, it might be his Parkinsons meds. If he was taken off Sinemet (carbidopa/levodopa), he would be wheelchair bound very fast and could not live in their home.

But, my husband and I did offer yesterday, to come and spray their house with an exterminating solution that my husband uses on our home. So, they seemed interested (especially my mom), when they found out that they would not have to empty out their cabinets. Just pick up a lot of junk off the floor and throw it in sacks or on the bed. Some treatment is better than none, I hope - in that they will wall out on the ground and then die. The bugs I mean!

The main thing that we would have to do, is taken them somewhere for 4 hours, then come back and open their windows, so it could finish drying and get some of the smell out. And my dad could not sit on the floor looking for bugs, for a whole day!!! :>

Probably will do this next week. We are going to Jamaica to our oldest daughters wedding in a few days and will be back in in less than a week. I do have to make some pills on Friday and look at their bills. This is a 2 x week helping week! I do not mind, because then I can get away!

Talk to yall later.

Love, Wannabe
