Re: aspartame product?

Aspartame is listed as such in ingredient lists on product packaging. So if you don't see the word aspartame, it isn't in there.

Re: aspartame product?

In fact, my protein powder (Met-Rx Supreme Whey) actually has a notice on it saying "Aspartame free". But as the other poster says, if it doesn't list aspartame as an ingredient, then it doesn't contain it. You would hope anyway...

Aspartame also goes buy a long list of other names and is legal to do so in the USA. The lable can say "Aspartame free" and the product can still have the same chemicals of Aspartame but listed under another name. And this is all legal !!!

Research each ingredient to see if any are Aspartame under another name.

Designer Whey Protein French Vanilla is made with Stevia as sweetener. Stevia is a natural sweetener NOT chemically made as in artificial sweeteners.

It's a stange concept that healthy products such as protein power and bars would include Aspartame in it.
