New to the board. I have been diagnosed with colitis and have been put on prednisone and asacol for 4 months.
I have been on these drugs (pred 30mg/day) for 10 days now. I have mild acne on my jaw and neck (30 yr old male.......thick beard), and this has cleared up bigtime since I went on these drugs.
I have read that some people have the same results only to have the acne come back 2 fold once you go off it or while you start reducing your doses.
It sounds like prednisone effects everyone differently, but I was wondering if anyone had this drug help keep there acne away for some time or even send it into remission?
