NEURONTIN is a prescription medicine that can be used to treat nerve pain that follows shingles in adults (postherpetic neuralgia). It also treats partial seizures in adults and children 3 years and older along with other seizure medicines. I have been taking neurontin for RSD for years and it does help somewhat. It is a drug that is used for a lot of different conditions. I cannot take
imitrex or many of the other migraine drugs due to reaction on the heart that they warn you about.
