perc, since it appears kind of obvious that you have absolutlety no self control when it comes to using and snorting.the best way for you to get that power back over your life(the narcotics are currently running and controlling what you do,not you)would be to get as far away from this crap as possible so you can work on yourself, and get strong enough to take that control back.would it be at all possible for you to actually go thru an inpatient treatment program?this would really be the ideal way for you to get 'away' from the narcotics while getting your life in order and back on track.
you have to really look at the whole picture here and look at this as what amounts to having to treat a disease, just like if you had some horrid type of illness that required hospitalization and constant care.this IS or will become a life and death situation for you if this doesn't stop.you said you already OD once.this IS something that has to be done and I truley think that the narcotics have such total grip over you right now that trying to just do this on your own at this point, well,i cannot really see how you would be able to actually keep yourself from going back to them.do you feel this way too?
it just appears from your posts that you have given total control to those pills and have ntohing left in you to try and get that control back.this is what going thru an inpatient program would actually do for you.enable you to get back your perspective and regain control and make yourself strong enough to not give in to the narcotics when they start calling your name again.you will once again regain that ability to say no.In your particular situation,I just cannot realistically see any other way for you to be able to actually achieve even a little bit of sobriety in your life without just getting yourself out of the environment you are currently in,totally.
you would also be with others who are dealing with the same exact thing you are.the support you will get will be crucial for you when you get out and feel that urge again.these peole will be with you and able to help you once yopu are out and on your own again.the more people you have on your "side" the better.there really IS strength in numbers ya know?
an inpatient program would also be able to properly detox you and help you thru any WDs that may occur depending on how your usage was before entering the program.they WILL be be there to help you thru all of what you will encounter while you get your life back under your control again.
i will get off my box now.just think about this.if you really DO want to kick this crap,I really think doing things this way will realistically give you the best possible shot at it.good luck to you perc, please keep us all posted on how you are doing.Marcia
Percocet211,just curious, are you looking to actually stop what you are doing to yourself or are you just looking for a way to get your high back??just wondering after reading the second to the last sentence of last paragraph of your last post, where you asked how to get your buzz back????
just an FYI,but if you are bi polar and only on anti depressants this could be making things worse.are you currently on any sort of a mood stabilizer?my son is bi polar and his anti Ds actually created his bi polar III condition,it wasn't til he had a full manic breakdown and we got him to the right mental health facility and placed on depakote, and the hell off of all SSRIs,that his life got back on track.just some thoughts.marcia
