Just A BC Question??

Hey everyone. I have a question pertaining to birth control. I have use Ortho- Tri-Cyclin-Lo and then I also use Cyclesa(spelling check?!) a few years back and had to been taken off of them due to having a surgery and not being able to take them during this time. I never got back into a BC after that either. I was wondering if anyone out there new of a pill that also helps you lose weight?? With the last pill I was on I gained 15 - 30lbs in just a little over a year. I am not a big girl by any means but I do have a little extra meat and I do not want any more.

well sweetie, im sure you know it's different for everyone....but i am on kariva and i have not gained from it at all. I have heard from some girls on here, that this pill also helped them keep a little weight off. : D

Thank you! I will do a little research on that one and ask my doc if it will be available to me .

hi Danielle,

like the pp said, birth control effects everyone differently. I was on yasmin for about 6 months and lost 17 lbs!! yasmin contains a diaretic that helps you lose water weight.. i don't know if that had anything to do with it or not but either way i'm not complaining

Thanks I have also heard of other girls who have lost weight on Yasmin. Thank you all for the help
