Earlier today I noticed that my left lower rib was very sore in the front, and it's gotten steadily worse over the last 6 hours. There is pain when I arch my back, and when I slump. Anybody know what it could be? I'd appreciate your input.
Well.... I don't know what it is, but I had something like that happen to me before, and it went away on its own and hasn't come back since, if that helps any.
I hate to be so graphic and personal but I've had that happen to me so many times I went to my doctor. Turns out because of my MS I get constipated ALOT and the twist of the instestine is right under the area where the left lower rib cage is. It was painful and it would go away after awhile but I never put the 2 and 2 together. I took Zelnorm for awhile but it didn't help so now I do fiber mix stuff every day.
I hope yours isn't anyhing serious. If it keeps up I'd say go to your doc.
Thanks for the replies. The ribcage isn't hurting as badly as before, but I believe I have a kidney infection now, am getting ready to go to the doc. Maybe the pain was related to that. Now my kidney area along with the rib area hurts, and I'm running a fever. So we'll see here in an hour or so. Thanks again for ya responses.
