Anyone who is or has been on yasmin and spiro or doxy

I'm sorry I just feel soo lost and don't know why this is happening. My acne was never bad before. This all started when I started taking alesse. That's why I had to switch.

I know it's a long time to wait, but if you haven't seen improvement in 6 months then I would try accutane. You could have a breakthrough within the next two months - who knows. Just hang in there. DD is on what you are with the exception of differin. She'll start 3rd pack of Yasmin next week and is on 50 mgs. of spiro. 200 mgs of Doryx. How much spiro are you taking? Honestly, it takes 3 to 4 months for hormonal treatments to really kick in. Healing is very gradual.

Hi i've been on doxy on and off for a while. I went off on my own accord and not according to doc's advice. Bad move, i know. Anyway, it took about 2 weeks to a month for the doxy to work for me. I had almost no new outbreaks after 2 weeks, and the remaining ones began to clear up. About 1 month later, I had clear skin with only very occasional outbreaks. But I must say that when i stopped taking it, the acne came back within about 3 months.

Also, my doc says i respond well to doxy, so how fast this works for u might differ from me. I didn't respond well to mino, and that's why my doc switched me over to doxy.
