Possibly switching from Tri-Sprintec

I just started birth control a month ago. I brought home Tri- Sprintec and went right online to do a little research on it. I found this site and there was a lot of negative feedback about Tri-Sprintec. Most people were saying it caused bad acne. Well, I took it for one month and it did cause me to break out worse than ever. When I was on the inactive week, my skin cleared up. I knew it was the pill that was doing this. I also had very tender breasts for the three active weeks, they were a little swolen too. I told the doctor and she told me to use it for one more month and if it happens again, she will switch me.

My friend was just switched to Necon, so I came here to see if there were any post about it. I read all mostly positive things about it. I noticed that the side effect list for Necon was MUCH shorter than the Tri-Sprintec list.

The Tri-Sprintec may end up working out ok for me, but it might not. If it does not, I am going to talk to my doctor about Necon.

My biggest concern for side effects is acne, weight gain, and breast growth, so, has anyone experienced any of these while on Necon?

I also notice people write like Necon 1/35. What do the numbers mean? I want to be able to tell that to my doctor and understand birth control a little better.

Thanks.
