Re: sulfa medicine

well this girl at work told me to try some stuff from mary kay b/c she had some success with it. I have very oily skin and she said the Mary Kay would really help. i used the 3 in 1 wash for oily skin, blemish control toner, and a sunscreen..and at night same system except no sunscreen..used their 5% BP lotion. I must say this is the best system to cut back on the oily..but I didnt stop breaking out..i also have proactiv which does nothing for me..I get very big cysts..that make my whole chin hurt..i have them on my chin, forehead, cheek, in between my eyes right now..I'm so depressed..On Sunday I'm starting birth control to see if that helps..if not..I dunno what the heck to use..any suggestions..or things that helped you would be much appreciated.....

Re: sulfa medicine

I am currently taking the generic form of Bactrim DS. It seems to be working GREAT. No side effects yet, but I make sure to take it with PLENTY of water. My derm wants me to come back in a month for a blood test to make sure the medicine isn't adversely affecting my white blood cells.
