Re: Questions for Spiro Takers (Women and especially Men)

I wanted to give you an update on the spiro. My face is no longer oily at all. Recently (a couple days) I haven't been putting anything on my face. I take a shower and stay in there for a little bit with a warm wash cloth and put it over my face (my derm told me to do that and it really does help my acne) then I get out and do nothing, not even pat my face dry, NOTHING. I have any been doing this once a day. I might start doing it twice but i'm not sure yet. I haven't been wearing makeup so once i start again i might have too. But my point is that i always had to put something on my face I would always try those products to reduce the oil and they would never work. Before I used to get out of the shower and within 30 mins my face would be oily but not anything anymore. I love it. By the way it is day 19 for me I just took my pill. And my face is clearing up more, it was better but last night I slept on my face (sides) and when I woke up my pimple that were going down came back up. I have been sleeping on my back lately except for last night So Im thinking that it has something to do with my shampoo and conditioner. So, i'm going to try to keep my face off of the pillows and change them as often as I can. I need to buy more pillow cases.

It is a diuretic. YOU MUST drink alot of water. That will help with your headaches. I know you will say you drink water but drink more.......Don't drink sodas. I was on it and had to drink alot of water. I am going back on it today. After not being on it for 6 months my oil is back and my hair is shedding really bad. So back on it I go.

I thought aldactone was the generic for spiro. Is this true?
