Red Marks.

i began using Tretinoin for Red marks early last month. I know the process of improvement is gradual and that it may take 8-12 weeks to notice any improvement, may question is that certain areas of my face have become alittle dry and flaky, instead of applying a moisturizer, I've decided to just let it be flaky, Is this the wrong way to go about it?, Does it actually hurt the improvement of your skin if you go about it like that?

Thank you.

Re: Red Marks.

don't let it go flaky. Use a gentle moisturizer.

Re: Red Marks.

I've only been using it for 5 weeks and I can't really tell.
I think it has lightened them up some.

Re: Red Marks.

i think you might see more of an improvment if you gently exfoliate the dead skin. Tretinoin increases your skins cell renewal process so you will see more dry flakey dead skin. Gently exfoliating with a cloth or something should help keep your pores clear, stop breakouts, and make your marks look better.

I never tried tretinoin, but it makes sense. Im thinking of trying the tretinoin though.
