Adderall weird side effect..

It is not a weird or abnormal side effect. It is one of the most common side effects since it is an amphetamine drug which is a stimulant drug (speed). It should take about 2 weeks for the body to get used to the drug. Many doctors will start patients on about 10mg then work up to the desired dosage over a few months. that helps the adjustment. I actually missed the up effect after i got used to it. It helped me stay awake to study and get much done. but now it just helps me focus with out those side effects.

this side effect is why amphetamine drugs are very addictive. Addicts crave that up feeling. when their body gets used to the adderall, they up the dosage. very dangerous.

It didnt bother me much if at all this weekend so maybe Im adjusting. Ive noticed alot of positive effects one of which is that I have been a compulsive eater most of my life and that has been something I have always struggled with. With this medicine it seems to have taken that craving away. Mentally Im not used to it and I still find myself sometimes thinking about food or going and buying something to "graze" on while I watch tv during the day but when it comes down to it the last week I have not done that. I find myself in the grocery store to get necessary stuff and browing the junk food aisles only to find that I dont "want" anything. I feel that if this keeps up it could be a life changing thing for me.
