The Gardner.....Thanks for your reply. Yes, my husband did tell them about the gurgling and they didn't say anything. That sounds so sensible about the heart failure and all. It does sound like that could be it, but do you know, would the angiogram, echogram and all come out good if he was having heart failure? He does have high blood pressure but is trying to keep it under control with coreg and he exercises some but not like he should. He is just at wits end and is worried about himself. His doctor has put him through several test to rule out other causes for his problem, but nothing has shown up except for a bacterial infection which his is currently taking antibotics for. Maybe it was the bacterial infection????? Don't know if it could have caused such an awful episode?, plus he has had this problem off an on for a while.

He is not overweight, although he would like to lose a few pounds. he is about 260 and 6ft 4. He has sleep apnea also and doesn't do anything for it at this time. He tried the machine to sleep with......did not work for him.
