Re: Optivar

You seem to be very optimistic. I, on the other hand worry way too much. Please keep me posted on your condition, I'd like to know your outcome.

Re: Optivar

Howdy, 1 ana 2, ana 3. I'll sure do that. One thing I "think" may be happening as a side effect is my taste is a bit bitter and bland. I've had a battle with my taste ever since a bad viral infection years ago. It said a side effect could be bitter taste on the Optivar. I called them today to be sure I wasn't going to finish off my taste using this stuff, but they assured me any side effects like that are reversible. Try not to worry. I go there lots, and it gets me nowhere! Things always turn out okay.

Take care,

Tony

Re: Optivar

Anxiety Man,

I guess the Optivar didn't turn out too good for you . The eye doctor switched me to Elestat. I don't really know whether or not it is helping me. I am also on topical steriods. And honestly, I don't want to put anymore medication n my eyes.

Re: Optivar

hi all
i was on optivar last summer-i have terrible allergies-i've been on allegra for 10 years!! also flonase etc. i've tried patanol & zaditor and i think the optivar worked the best! (i've posted elsewhere about my recurring gooky eye problem that no one can seem to diagnose-one doctor suggested allergies so no you don't need itching for s/t to be an allergy-i'm so frustrated!! )but the optivar is a good drug and really did help with my allergic eyes.
good luck to you

Re: Optivar

Thanks so much for your reply! I am glad that it works for you. The bitter taste doesn't bother you? It did for me. Well, take good care of yourself!
