Anyone ever have this problem?

I kind of lost my voice and it has slowly gotten better but the raspiness won't completely leave and I am trying everything I can think of to keep my throat rested and moist etc. I spend a night at a friends who had seven cats right before I lost my voice and I am wondering if I could have had an allergic reaction to all of the cats in their house? All advice greatly appreciated!

Once, and for me it was allergy related. Do you have any post nasal drip? Have you tried taking an antihisamine?

Thanks for your replies. I do have post nasal drip but thought I pretty much had it under control with my Astellin followed by ocean spray. Can I take an antihistamine while I am taking Astellin? It's getting really annoying! All advice is much appreciated.

Yes, you can take an antihistamine with Astelin.
