hi, i thought i'd let you know what my doc said. i too have a cold right now. he said that i could not take antihistimine. i have low thyroid, anxiety and high cholestrol. he gave me an antibotic, & told me to tkae robitussin cough syrup. also had to stop taking crestor until antibotic is finished. antihistimine actually can make the anxiety worse. but i was not told of anything else to take. hope this helps you
Thanks! It seems like a lot of people with anxiety have problems with there thyroids. I wonder if this is common. I had blood work done last month and my thyroid levels (t4) were high...hyperactive thyroid, but I just went back last week to retest and they are normal again. They are sending me to thyroid dr just to make sure....I wonder if I to have this problem.
