hemicrania continua

i think i have hemicrania continua, always same side, everyday headache with sharp stabbing pain on left side, left ear, and left side of neck right below left ear, in the carotid artery area, and have been taking the recommended indocin, about 100mg in divided doses, but i cant find any info on what causes this and why this happens, and is there any other med other than indocin that might help? i know relpax helps me but cant take that everyday!! indocin does help but i seem to have to keep increasing the dose and am worried about getting an ulcer! any input would be appreciated, thanks

Re: hemicrania continua

I too am taking indomethacin & it is tearing up my stomach. Going back to Dr tomorrow to see what else I can do. Let me know if you discover anything else, and I will too.
Good Luck!
