Every single evening - and sometimes during the daytime - and I mean every single day - I feel this sensation in my stomach, although it's not in the stomach area - It feels closer to the surface, to the side of the stomach - close to the area of the bottom ribs that generally stick out. I feel it mainly in the left side, and sometimes on the right. I don't feel it when I'm laying down, nor much when I'm standing. I only feel it when I'm sitting down, and especially so when I'm laying back, but not quite sitting up.
What it feels like is very hard to describe. I've had indigestion problems for many months now - this feeling I've had for many months since it started. It usually doesn't bother me, but some evenings the feeling is quite strong. It doesn't hurt, sting or anything like that. The best way to describe it is a kind of "tight" feeling, pressure, or even a bubble. If I keep still, I notice it even more and it begins to make me feel very uncomfortable. Moving seems to make the feeling temporarily disappear.
I'm 21, fairly healthy, on a good diet and get about an hour of walking in each day for excercise. I've been on Ranitidine for about 6 months now, too. Does anyone know what this could be, or have experienced it themselves?
