hi im sorry i got off of the subjust dr.mike who is my reg doc. had sent me to an e/n/t/ doc. because dr. mike didnt know why my left ear kept huting so he sent me to ane/n/t/doc. dr.mike takes care of my heart an anything else its just that i have been so sick from my camping trip and i duess dr.mike didnt know what else to do . im sorry i rambled on but i didnt go back to that other doc. i didnt like him. hats all. susan kay

Hi Susan,

Hope you are feeling better. There are lymph glands in the area you state that may become swollen if there is an infection. The glands are the sites where the infection interacts with the cells of your immune system.

Furosemide medication can cause a hearing problem, but that probably is ruled out during your visit with your cardiologist.

Drink plenty of fluids, lots of rest, and take your medication.

hi yes its me again one more thing now i am tripping over my feet a lot i almost fell 2 or 3 times today at work and i tend to waver when i am walking an i loose my balance alot . is that due to the glands being swollen? i guess i will ask him when i go in a week. sorry to ask so many questions. susan kay

mimim i did ask on the other board but no answer yet. i guess i have gotten used to asking kenkeith questions and he has been very nice and pasient with all of my ramblings on its just that i have not been this sick since i was 7 years old and i had a blood platlet deisese. having somthing to do with red blood cells and my white cells and not enough platlets and they took out some bone marrow. and they had to hold me down. i am47 and have always ben pretty ealthy but now that i am older i am anemic and i have te mvp tht gives me pains in my heart and since i went camping i have not been able to completly get rid of this broncitus stuff. so i have been looking for answers where ever i can get them o.h. lets not forget MY MOTHER JUST DIED SUDDLEY WITH OUT WARNING. SO IF YOU FELT THAT I WAS SPEKING OUT OF TURN I AM SO SORRY. but you know what you will be alright . thank you very much susan kay. like right now my heart hurts not from mom passing but i keep having pains in it. so i will go take my meds and go to bed. another day starts at 5;00a.m.susankay

Hope you are feeling better. The inner part of the ear provides one's sense of balance. It is possible a medication can upset one's sense of equilibrium and cause palpitations. An infection of the hearing mechanism could also be a cause.
