Re: What's wrong with me?

Those attacks of lightheadness could also be realted to anemia. How is your iron intake? I would start taking some multivitamins. (this could help many problems) If you have problems with your stomach there are adult chewable types and liquid types such as Centrum. Let us know what you find out at the doctors ok?!
Also, could you be pregnant?

I'm a guy. And for the other question I'm not sure if my iron level is low or not. I did have some multivitamins I was taking, Kirkland brand, but I stopped taking them ever since I started taking doxycycline and benzoyl peroxide for acne...it would probably be a good idea to start taking them again though...

Re: What's wrong with me?

>>> Sort of sounds like a mild form of epilepsy, ... <<<

I, too agree with this, ... as seeing a magnitude of your condition.
I know very weell about Anxiety, but not like the detailed description in your previous post. Also, 'tremor' about which you describe is NOT an ordinary tremor, because I, too had and another family member has one, too.

It's not easy to admit all of this and go to the doctor. Not only you but also your parents must weight on this issue heavily, on that I truly understand because one of my sons has some mental issue that requires daily med. regimen. However, like any serious condition/symptoms, it's needed an immediate attention that could save your frustration, worry, time and money in the end.

Let us know when you feel like to come back to talk about your doctor's visit.

Re: What's wrong with me?

It sounds to me like it may be a type of neuro disorder especially because you have had it so long, look up neuro disorders online reminds me of stiff-mans syndrome or hyperekplexia or something along that line.

Re: What's wrong with me?

Well my doctor just got changed because my last one stopped accepting Blue Cross or something...anways I was reading about epilepsy and anemia and panic disorders online.

Epilepsy - It seems that there are partial and generalized forms of it. If this IS what I have, it would have to be partial seizure because I never lose consiousness, however I don't even think I have partial seizure because when I get hit by these waves I'm not really confused in the sense that they describe. I am totally aware of what is happening to me, I just don't know what it is, and when it happens I never have jerky movements or moments of staring, and everything still looks and smells the same and I can talk just fine.

Anemia - I went over the list of symptoms and I don't have shortness of breath, rapid heartrate, dizziness, headache, cracked lips or sore tongue (that's an interesting one), plus I eat lots of red meat.

Panic Disorder - This is what I felt I had the most, but I'm not so sure after reading over the symptoms. Once again, no rapid breathing, chest pain, irregular heartbeat, sweating, choking feeling, nausea, dizziness, chills, or fear. When I get hit by these attacks I am never really scared or have intense fear. I am just annoyed that they happen, a little startled, and worried because it's not normal. I do however get a slight numbness feeling and detached from myself or reality feeling.

Anyways, I went to the mall again today to try my luck. Sure enough, I experienced a few of these waves as I made my way from shop to shop with a buddy. I didn't tell him about them and he never noticed anything. It was really annoying because I had to take some clothes back and I wanted to shop for some new clothes, and I felt like I should just leave because it was almost too hard. When I got to thinking about it, I came to the hypathetical conclusion that if I was in a wheelchair I would be fine, because I don't really experience these waves when I am sitting. So if I had a wheelchair I would be able to go in every shop and not worry about maybe fainting/falling. Silly I know.

So I won't have any new information until I get blood tests and a brain scan, but I have noticed that these attacks never happen if I am alone (except that time when I was driving)/with family/ or with friends at a friends house. If I had anemia or epilepsy or one of those other neuro disorders, would they happen on a normal basis or only in certain situations?

Edit: Oh and to deegale: I haven't had this for a long time. The first time I got this was that first car ride, which was about 6-8 months ago or so. And as far as the tremor goes- I started noticing it when I was in middle school which would have been when I was about 14. I am now 21.

That's all for now, thanks again for everyone's input and help.
