trying to figure this out fibro or AI side effect

hi there,
can anyone help? I am trying to figure out if my symptoms are from fibro or a side effect of my bc drug called aromasin.
i know that aromasin causes joint pain, but after reading many of the fibro postings i think thats what i may have...my dr. says maybe ..heres what i feel
leg pain.- muscles tighten up and wont relax..lately especially in my hips and thighs, feeling that there is a current running throught them, and musle twitches
my wrists kill me-dr. tested for carpal tunnel, right is slightly positive..its the left that really hurts!
starting to have tingling and numbness in upper back right hand and feet
recently having muscles tightening in lower back..that scared me!
feet hurt on the bottoms, especially in the morning
and after some research i think i have plantar fiscitis(sp?) heel pain.
I took Neurontin for 10 days hated the way i felt, off that, I take tramadol to sleep at night but hate to relay on meds without a true diagnosis
Can anyone please give me some feedback on their symptoms of fibro?
and please tell me, does this ever get any better?

I feel your pain! I experience all of those pains that everyday to some degree

my back hurts while I am typing this. I'm a male 44 yrs old, and have been out of work due to fibro. I had severe FMS CFS ans IBS all at same time the pain was 24x7 I woke up screaming at times. I am presently taking 30mg of Cymbalta daily, the side effects were terrible for me for the first 2 weeks. My pain is more manageable now except for the pain and weakness in my upper body, which I plan on getting aquatic therapy for.

The key for me has been exercise, I started off walking, even when I felt sick.
after a couple of weeks after walking and stretching every day I started to run. It was very hard at first, having a running partner made it much much easier. I am now running 3 miles per day every other day and I feel well most of the time.

There were a few things that I didnt mention in the first post..I have been exercising almost every day for 3 years. i love the gym! the thing is that i find my muscles feel like they are weakening. what used to be a breeze for me i now find difficult. i had to give up running altogether, i have tried to walk the same distance (3-4miles)that 6mths ago i could run and...i cried i struggled so bad..i also forgot to mention that my legs feel cold all the time! is that also from fibro?
It really stinks having to deal with this..and i just dont want to take meds just to alleviate symptoms..i want it to go away!!!
I am glad that you found something to help you with your pain, i think exercise is the key..its great for both your body and mind.
swimming is wonderful, i tried that if it werent for the wrist pain i would still be doing it.
im just lost...i just dont know what to do.
i sleep with wrist braces, and that helps them, but last night the legs were really bad and i cant get much sleep and dont function well in the day.
oh well im going on and on..sorry! im just mad at the whole problem, wish i could turn back the clock before all this.
