Re: what is your opinion on antidepressants

If you're experiencing negative side effects (like sleepiness) maybe your doctor could prescribe a different anti-depressant. I can only speak for myself, but I would probably be dead without my meds. I'm taking 40 mgs of Prozac, 25 mgs of Anafranil, and Ativan-as needed. Some people have tried to make me ashamed for taking anti-depressants, but it's none of their business. Without them I wouldn't be here today.

Re: what is your opinion on antidepressants

all i am going to say is be prepared when you decide to go off of them whether it is cold-turkey or weaning off(which is still bad). i was only on lexapro for 4 months and i have weaned off overthe last month like dr. said. and it is bad. trust me. if i had known this i would have never got on them. i pray the withdrawals go by fast. dr. told me i should not have withdrawals but i am telling you you do. thw swooshing feeling in your head and body is bad!!!! hope everyone has better luck than i did and i wasonly on it for 4 months.

Re: what is your opinion on antidepressants

To speak the truth over the years I have been losing confidence over the OTC medicines as the side effects at times become too profound! So I have no change in my point of view for the antidepressants too, I would suggest that people should try alternative ways to get this problem cured, for instance for my high BP I got inspiration from a ****, http://treat-high-bp-naturally.********.com/ where also the person has emphasised on overcoming BP problems hassle free, so who needs to comment on these drugs anyway?
