Oh Happy Day

I had successful intercouse with my wife this weekend. It was like walking on the moon. Erection was strong enough to get the job done but it did not last long. Had to rebuild it 3 times successfully. I guess it like to learning to walk all over again. The last time was September 4, 2005. The morning of surgery.

That's fantastic. If you don't mind me asking, what was your method for "rebuilding"?

Re: Oh Happy Day

I will try and not be to blunt here. First I notice while it was not working that I was not thinking about sex as much as I had before. I was 44 at the time of the surgery and I know I thought about it often. But I noticed the longer time went on. I did not think about sex at all. Before surgery I dreamed about having sex on a regular basis. I noticed I had not dreamed about sex in several months and I knew my mind had just shut that part down. So I started to stimulate my mind to least think about it more often. I read the book The Hardness Factor and began taking supplements. I exercised on a regular basis and began to notice after my spinning class that my size and lenght (semi erect state) would appear when I was taking a shower afterwards. I got samples of viagra and cialis and took them on a regular daily sometimes at night to encourage nightime blood flow and sometimes during the day to encourage blood flow. After a while I began to see signs of erections at night when I got to go to the bathroom or during the day I feel it shift in my pants from expanding something it had not done in a while. Overtime I could see the difference. I have a pump but I have 4 kids so using it on regular basis was difficult but I used as often as possible. Finally I made love to my wife as often as possible anyway possible. There is equipment that you can buy that will simulate you as having an erection and allow you to perform as if you did. It was weird at first but when you lookdown and see something returned to you that has been taking away. Though it may not be yours it reminds your body and mind what your missing. Eventually I started to notice that it was getting more difficult to fit into the attachment. And I was able to create enough of an erection to get through a little and as time went by it got better and better. I believe it is both the mind and body that have to be involved. Once you go through the motions and your in the moment. It's the putting it all together and I was able to have success. For me levitra is the strongest pill that will make me erect 70% without stimulation you add stimulation to that and that allowed me success. But from what I have seen for me its get's better each time with each attemp. When I first started taking these pills there was no response but as time went by it has gotten better. Now with children and teens in the mix who don't go to bed now I just need more practice. It is like learning to walk all over again. Sorry for such a long answer if you don't understand what piece of equipment I'm talking about write back and I will get more specfic.

Re: Oh Happy Day

This is really helpful and inspirational. Thanks for taking the time to explain how you have been coordinating mind and body to heal. The fact that you are getting better and better at achieving an erection means that your nerves are definitely on the mend. And, you explain the importance of getting the mind and some assistance into the picture. I really like your analogy of learning how to walk again. Your story definitely offers me some hope.

I think the device you referenced is some sort of sleeve?

Re: Oh Happy Day

Yes without getting to specfic it is a sleeve that fits over it. You will get the same feeling of movement. Some sense of normallacy. It took a while to get used but had no complaints from spouse. It was a strange at first, but it was a good thing to look down and see something that used to be there. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
