3 month sinus problem

I have had a sinus problem for the last 3months and have been on tetracyline antibiotics, sulfa, and levaquin each of these antibiotics has not worked, is there any other pills i could take to get rid of this? I can not take Pencillin antibiotics because im allergic.

Have you had a CT scan to see if you are actually carrting an infection?

After what you discribed.. and given my allergies to Mycins, Cillans, and Sulfa drugs.

You can check into Avelox.. new designer anti-biotic and cephalosporins like Cefzil and Ceclor. There is always the danger that in 20% of people allergic toCillans that an allergy to the Cephalasporins may be present.

Yes one of my main problems is stuffy nose and yellow material coming out of the nose.

My sinus infection was around for 6 months before I had the CT done...and nine by the time I had the surgery. I wish I hadn't waited.
