Re: Nausea

I started the pill yesterday and my doctor said that nausea is a side effect usually for the first few weeks. It should go away. Tell your doctor if it doesn't and she can change your dosage so it doesn't happen anymore.

Re: Nausea

My nausea went away after a month when I first started BC pills!

Good Luck!

Re: Nausea

OTC lo has been known to cause a lot of issues in many women. It seems like majority of women fare better on regular Ortho-Cyclen rather than any of the other Ortho products.

As far as the nausea is concerned, it's extremely common and very frequent for someone who just started the pill to be nauseated. That's why many doctors advocate taking the pill at night so you'll be asleep by the time you start feeling nauseated.

Some women, however, keep experiencing the nausea just because they can't tolerate the pill. If it lasts longer than a month, you might want to consider a different type of contraception.
