Re: Results, please comment

When I took Armour I was on 1 grain along with 37.5 Unithroid. Previous to that I was on 1/2 grain Nature Throid with Unithroid. My dr switched me back to the Nature Throid because I tend to do better with it than Armour even though they are basically the same. So now I am back to the 1/2 grain and 75 Unithroid.
I always need more T4 med than T3 but I do need the T3, without it completely I feel horrible.

Thanks again dea4. I hope it goes well tomorrow and that he is willing to switch things around and not just cut the doses.

No kidding, no dose cuts.

My Dr just upped mine to 100 mcg Unithroid with 1/2 grain.

Keep in mind that Armour suppresses the TSH even more than a synthetic does. Midwest mentioned this and I ask my Dr about it and he confirmed that it does.

Re: Results, please comment

Hi dea4. I went to my appointment this morning.

My pulse was 112, I don't know why. My testosterone levels were high, so they did another test and advised me to see the gyno. The doctor increased the Armour by 1/2 grain and decreased the Cytomel from 25mcg to 5 mcg. Does this sound like it will help or is the Armour increase too low?

Thank you!
