Please help- months without answers- abdominal/bladder pain
Since sept. I have had an array of symptoms that NO ONE can figure out- I've been to the ER, fam dr, naturopath, gyno, and urologist. I've had antibiotics, anti-histamines, IVP, Cytoscope, pelvic exam, and 24 hr urine test. ALL tests have come up negative and are not showing anything. I am going in for pelvic ultrasound to check for ovarian cysts next week. WHat is wrong with me????? My urologist suggested "spasms" for lack of anything else he could come up with....
My most recent issue has been intense pain/cramping/aching in the lower abdomen- not particularly on one side or the other- just overall- accompanied by vaginal pain/ache, bladder pressure, feeling of having to use the restroom, pain during or just when finishing urinating during the episode and at times after. Nausea as well. Sometimes it takes 20 minutes to pass other times it can take hours and all I can do is lay on the floor and hope it goes away soon.
So far I have stumped the medical world apparantly and I can't take it anymore- something is going on- I'm not imagining this intense pain and bizarre feelings in my body
Can anyone help???

I feel like this when I get bladder infections. I've actually had 3 or 4 this year. My doctor said that it was actually one that wouldn't go away. Maybe have your doctor put you on Bactrim. It's an antibiotic. Also, they have medicine for the spasms you're having to. Also have someone check your kidneys.

Maybe it's stone in your kidneys, you need to see a kidneys specialist (NEPHROLOGIST) in the mean time drink a lot of green coconut water do not drink nothing else until you see your kidneys specialist if you don't have stone it's maybe an infection, in your kidneys, need X rays!
Good luck

Re: Please help- months without answers- abdominal/bladder pain
You could have endometriosis. I did, and my tests were all negative too. This is because endo can only be diagnosed with a laparoscopy (surgery). Do some research, but it sounds like it to me. Could also be interstitial cystitis. They are common to have together.

Re: Please help- months without answers- abdominal/bladder pain
Has anyone suggested cystocele? I have that and the pain is intense. The muscles and tissues are weak and tearing away (dropping with gravity). It took years for someone to tell me what was going on, and then only because it was becoming visible upon vaginal exam. It can be caused by childbirth, age, physical trauma, etc. It has also affected my bladder habits in the same way as yours. It was misdiagnosed 5 years previous and the doctor did a hysterectomy, which only made it worse. Good luck.
