Post excessive bleeding and acne

Hello. I am new to this board. I have had acne for ten years (I am twenty four) and it has gotten very gradually worse over time. In the last four years I have exprerienced a lot of excessive menstrual bleeding all month long even though I have been on the pill. It all started on tricyclen, same thing with brevicon and demulen. For a while now I have been on Diane 35 (two years) and sometimes I think it is helping my acne, sometimes not. Recently, my doctor put me on premarin because he said maybe a little extra estrogen might stop the bleeding if I want to stay on the diane. Anyone else out there have bleeding probleams with low dose pills? what did you do? I had been having a 'good spell' skin wise until this premarin thing, it is possible that extra estrogen or premarin itself is bad for your skin? I thought it would be good for my skin. The bleeding seems to have stopped, but even though it's weird, I'd rather bleed than break out. There has to be someone out there who has acne associated to excessive bleeding and hormone problems, what did you do? I've heard Yasmin can be helpful for both, but they don't have that in Canada. Anyone had any success with this Yasmin thing or any thing else?
