Hi,
I have been prescribed "beta Nicarida' (Atenolol BP 50mg + Nifedipine 20mg) for my blood pressure.
I can tolerate it reasonably well and have been on it for three weeks.
The only real side effect is that a few days after i started i developped Diarrhea which has persisted for the past two weeks. That combined with a nasty bout of food poisening has not been particularly pleasant. Went to docs who gave me antibiotics (Ciproflaxicin) for the food poisenting (i didnt realise at the time this could be a side effect of the BP meds). Now i have gone from watery diarrhea to 'loose' bowels.
Anyone had something similar?
