Re: blurring vision

This happens to me too, it is a very common symptom of high blood glucose.
It goes away when sugar is under control. The trick is to try to keep sugar levels in the normal range.

Re: blurring vision

Hello to England from Canada: At what blood gluclose reading does it happen to you. It seems to happen to me if I cheat a bit and am over 15mmol.

Re: blurring vision

Hi again
the blurred vision happens to me anything over 10.5. I try to keep tighter control than that, but it does happen occasionally. Are you on meds? 15 seems very high, if it goes that high regularly you may need a change or increase in meds. Mandy.

Re: blurring vision

Hi Molly: Yes I take Amaryl twice a day. I used to take Metformin but had to quit because of bowel problems. Amaryl does not work as good. My sugar goes above 12 if I cheat and eat wrong---like chocolate.. my downfall.
Glad to see someone else uses mmol. I have to convert if I am using USA readings.

Diagnosed 5 years ago., Diet and exercise for 2 years. Metformin for 2 years and now Amaryl.
